The identity of a man found dead late last month in a tent has been revealed.

Middletown Detective Lt. Steve Forman confirmed to LevittownNow.com that the body belonged to Kevin J. Ettenger, 33, of Langhorne. He noted that Ettenger had been homeless apparently by his own choice at the time of death.

Ettenger’s body was found in a tent secluded in a heavily wooded area near a pump station off Exeter Court in the Langhorne section of Middletown on July 31.

Forman said “there continues to be no indications of foul play.”

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office is awaiting lab and toxicology results before officially ruling on a cause of death.

The coroner’s office had to wait for dental records to confirm the body belonged to Ettenger, whose family had posted on social media earlier in summer that they were looking to find him.
