The Pennsylvania State Police are seeking a driver who fled a traffic stop on I-295 last week in the area.

A trooper attempted to pull over a Honda Accord that was traveling westbound on I-295 in Middletown Township at 12:27 p.m. last Thursday.
The vehicle refused to stop, sparking a pursuit on the busy highway.
Troopers said they noticed the Honda was displaying a license plate that did not belong to the vehicle.

“Due to safety concerns, the pursuit was terminated,” state police said.
No charges have been filed in connection with the chase as of yet.

The incident is part of a series of recent fleeing-and-eluding cases handled by state police in the area.
In a press release on Monday, troopers said they are filing fleeing and eluding police charges against a 22-year-old Yardley man after a chase in late June on northbound I-95 in Bensalem Township.
A 19-year-old Philadelphia man will be facing charges after fleeing troopers in a 2009 Lexus ES250 on the afternoon of July 22 in Lower Bucks County. Although that pursuit was also called off due to safety concerns, troopers said a follow-up investigation identified the driver.
