Investigators are still waiting to confirm the identity of a man found dead in a tent late in July.
Middletown Detective Lt. Steve Forman said the Bucks County Coroner’s Office continues to await dental records before they can make a final determination on the man’s identity.

The body was found in a tent near a pump station surrounded by heavy woods and underbrush off Exeter Court in the Langhorne section of Middletown on July 31.

Police have an idea of who the man may have been and have been in touch with his family.
“They are understanding that a positive ID must be made before any declaration can be made and accordingly we are not releasing any information out of respect for the family until positive ID is made,” Forman said.

The body was found after a call to 9-1-1.
Two days after the discovery public works and fire crews returned to the scene to clear out the tent.
