The plans for a proposed new Wawa in Bristol Township were pushed from the July to August Zoning Hearing Board meeting.

The announcement about the delay was made at the start of the Bristol Township Zoning Hearing Board meeting Monday evening.

Wawa has proposed building a new roughly 5,000-square-foot convenience store with 12 gas pumps on a portion of the roughly five-acre property on Cinder Lane between Bristol-Oxford Valley Road and Emilie Road in Levittown.

The lot where the Wawa is proposed is outlined in red.

The landowner wants to split the property and offer a portion to Wawa.

The location where Wawa is proposed features numerous businesses and is about 1,500 feet from the Wawa at New Falls Road and Bristol-Oxford Valley Road and about 4,000 feet from the location on Emilie Road. Both locations are older Wawa designs and do not have gas pumps, a common feature at newer Wawas.
