After about 24 hours without running water, hundreds, if not thousands, of customers in Levittown had their service restored on Sunday.
The water main break happened Saturday morning around 10 a.m. on Veterans Highway (Route 413) outside of the Burger King near the intersection with New Falls Road.

Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority Executive Director Vijay Rajput said the water main break was hard to locate the exact spot where the break happened, adding it was repaired Sunday.
Numerous residents in Bristol Township and Middletown, including the Racquet Club Apartments on Veterans Highway, were without water service for a full day. Many residents who reached out to this news organization raised concerns about the little information they received about the water main break from the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority, which serves 23,000 customers between Bristol Township, Falls Township, Middletown and Tullytown.
Rajput, who was away from the area for the weekend, did not immediately release how many people were impacted by the water main break.
