The season’s inaugural First Friday celebration will feature arts, interactive crafts, vendors and shopkeepers selling various goods, live music from local groups, food vendors, and this year’s community art project.
May through September, the borough will celebrate with neighbors and those from out of town on the first Friday of every month. The tradition has grown since its launch a few years ago.
Attendees will be invited to help paint rocks over the course of the First Friday events that will be used to create a mandala, a colorful ritual symbol that represents the universe.
