
Saturday night at the 7-Eleven in the 1200 block of East Lincoln Highway in Middletown was anything but normal.
The normally-bustling convenience store that sits between the Langhorne Square Shopping Center and I-295 was hit by the armed crook around 9:50 p.m. He was was holding a gun and demanded money from the clerk, police said.

While there were customers inside the 7-Eleven, no one was injured, police said.

The suspect was between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet-tall and of thin build, police said.
Investigators said no one at the scene got a good look at the suspect because he was well covered and donned a mask over his face. However, he was wearing a distinctive red sweatshirt with “AERO” on it and his colorful sneakers appeared to have a Nike swoosh.

Officers responded after getting the 9-1-1 call and a K-9 unit conducted a search but did not find the suspect, police said.
