A Bristol Township man awaiting trial on charges including rape of a child and involuntary deviant sexual intercourse is now facing new allegations.
In court papers filed jointly by Bristol Borough and Falls Township police, authorities allege that Kevin Christopher Ortiz, 23, sexually assaulted a girl in home on Wood Street in the borough in August 2011 and spring 2012 when she was 11 and 12 years old. In both cases, the girl awoke to Ortiz beginning the reported sexual assaults.

Ortiz, who was 15 at the time, would visit the home and did not live there full time.
Ortiz was charged last Wednesday with charges of rape of a child, indecent assault, indecent assault with a person less than 13 years old, and sexual assault. He was arraigned by District Judge Jan Vislosky and released on $100,000 unsecured bail.
In June, Ortiz is slated to stand trial on charges he sexually assault another minor girl at a Middletown apartment when he was 13 years old. He was arraigned in December and made 10 percent of $100,000 bail in mid-March, according to court records.

Ortiz pleaded guilty to fleeing or attempting to elude officers and reckless endangerment as part of a deal in January. The charge stemmed from a July 2018 police chase that started in Bristol Borough and ended with Pennsylvania State Police pinning Ortiz’s vehicle between a cruiser and the wall of a home in the 3000 block of Old Rodgers Road. The 23-year-old man is currently serving probation for the chase.
