Middletown Township officials have authorized the purchase of a new vehicle for the Parkland Fire Company for $92,204 and a public works truck for $87,836.
The Parkland Fire Company’s new Ford F-350 truck will come in a bit more pricey than the money awarded by the Redevelopment Authority of Bucks County casino impact grant. However, officials noted, the Parkland Fire Company will be paying the balance that is above the money awarded through the grant.

Public works will receive a new 2019 Ford F-550 chassis and one stainless steel dump body with a snow plow, spreader, and accessories. The truck will replace another public works vehicle that is “nearing the end of its life,” according to officials.
While the purchase was planned for at budget time, further research allowed the purchase to come in under budget to the tune of $87,836.
The vehicle will be purchased by U.S. Municipal Supply, based out of King of Prussia.
