The 27-year-old woman who was being treated at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia suffered gunshot wounds in the arm and back. She is expected to survive, police said.
“Witnesses report a fight between two men occurred in the bar shortly before closing. One of the men left the bar out the back door. When the patrons left the bar and moved to the front parking lot between Stadium Express and Beach’s Hardware, shots were fired towards the crowd and struck the female victim,” police said.
A driver who was passing the area told investigators that they saw a dark-colored sedan pull up to the shoulder of Veterans Highway near the bar and spotted a man step out. At that point, the man opened fire toward the crowd before fleeing south on Ford Road, police said.
