A Bristol Township man was arrested Monday morning at a car dealership.

Bristol Township officers were called to Bristol Motor Cars on Route 13 near Beaver Street around 7:30 a.m. on Monday for a report of a disturbance. They arrived to find a dealership key holder who was bleeding from his nose and had cuts on his face, according to court papers.

Police said the key holder told them he was “attacked” after a man – later identified as Tazmer Lavar Nunez, 38 – followed him into the dealership after he unlocked the door. The key holder alleged that he was struck in the face by Nunez when he attempted to contact police and also a metal stool was swung at him.

In court papers, police said the key holder told them Nunez took four separate sets of vehicle keys that were for sale and placed them in his pocket.

Officers entered the dealership and found Nunez in a pickup truck.

Nunez was yanked from the truck and officers found suspected cocaine, suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, suspected marijuana, and a glass smoking pipe, police said.

The vehicle keys were found on Nunez, police said.

At the police station, Nunez refused officers’ commands and stepped toward law enforcement officials in an “aggressive manner.” He was taken to the ground and placed in handcuffs, police said.

An officer spoke with the owner of the dealership. He confirmed Nunez, who lives a short distance from the business, did not have permission to enter the facility.

Nunez was arraigned before District Judge John Kelly on charges of robbery, criminal trespass, simple assault, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, and related offenses. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $200,000 bail.
