Attilio Cauti passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 90. Born in South Fork, Pa., he has been a Levittown resident for over 60 years. Attilio was a U.S. Army POW, earning the medal of Valor in the Korean War and retired after 34 years of service as a crane operator from U.S. Steel, Fairless Works. He was a devout Catholic and attended Mass daily. Attilio was a member of the Bristol Moose, the Bristol Elks, Fifth Ward Club and St. Ann’s Athletic Assoc. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed walking and watching Notre Dame Football.
Husband of the late Phyllis (nee Schaeffler) Cauti, he is survived by his son, Douglas Cauti and his wife, Kristine, of Needham, Mass., 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Cauti and her fiancé, Nick Mille, Brian Cauti and Nichole Cauti. He is also survived by 1 sister, Mary Ann Kirkendal, sisters-in-law, Peggy Cauti and Julie Cauti and nieces and nephews, Michele Kemper, Stacie Wilkinson, Jackie Dugan, Joe Dugan, Mark Marseglia, Joe Cauti and Camille Cauti, Donna Dougherty and Glenda Carpenter, along with many great nieces and great nephews and his dear friend, Joe Vettori. He was predeceased by his siblings, Dora Hines, Nella Dugan, Camille Cauti, Anthony Cauti and Victor Cauti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass on Thursday, January 31, 2019, 11:30am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
