According to court papers, Middletown police learned on New Year’s Eve that Koon’s victim in the fraud case reported that she was being harassed and threatened by the 57 year old.
On New Year’s Day, a detectives received a recording of Koon’s voicemail to her victim. She made reference to a no-contact order that had expired and said she could not believe the woman “did this” to her and she would spend time “upstate” because of her. In further statements, Koon said she would walk out of the courtroom and she would have to be caught, police said.
In a threatening statement, Koon allegedly said the woman and her kids better watch their backs, adding “this isn’t over yet.” She ended the threat by saying “people” would be driving by and something would happen to her.

A screenshot obtained by police showed Koon had called the woman’s phone eight times between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Koon was locked up Monday on 10 percent of $250,000 on charges of intimidation of a victim, harassment, and terroristic threats.
