Falls Township football fans Joe and Mary Lelinski are at it again.
Lelinski has converted his popular “Blinkinghouse” Christmas lights display to support the Philadelphia Eagles’ postseason run.

Starting on Monday, the retired Pennsbury School District teacher changed his display at 9 Franklin Street in Falls Township’s Fallsington section to green and white lights. The lights are synced with the Eagles’ fight song and other tunes that fit the eagle theme.
“When the Eagles make the playoffs, I take the opportunity to switch to all white and green lights,” Lelinski said on Friday.

The longtime Eagles fans gained notoriety last year after lots of media attention on his display as the NFL team made their way to the Super Bowl. This year, his display is seen as a sign of good luck.

Lelinski said an article by LevittownNow.com reporter Erich Martin last year first brought attention to his house and then drew newspaper and TV crews who kept the flow of cars coming through the Super Bowl victory.
While the crowds have been less than last year, Lelinski said he still sees a number of cars every evening stopping by to cheer on the Eagles.

Instead of taking down his decorations after Chirstmas, Lelinski feels that they have to stay up now as long as the Eagles continue in the postseason. For him and many, it’s a local good luck charm that he does not want to jinx.
Lelinski has considered taking some of the snowmen down for the season and because they can be damaged by weather, but he is worried he might mess up the good vibes.
“I don’t want to do it just yet. It’s my own superstition,” he said.

While it takes as many as 20 to 30 hours to program his outdoor lights and corresponding Muppets band to blink in sync with a single song, Lelinski has added a number of new tunes, including one relating to Nick Foles that a friend found online.
Citing advice stated on TV Eagles’ head coach Doug Pederson, Lelinski said he tries not to think too far ahead of each game, but he plans to keep the lights up as long as the Eagles are still playing.
