Work by CSX will close a road on the border of Middletown and Lower Makefield.
The shut down will happen at the railroad crossing where Township Line Road turns into Big Oak Road starting Sunday, December 16. The closure will last about one week.

Lower Makefield police said the detour will take drivers on Langhorne-Yardley Road to Stony Hill Road to Heacock Road to Oxford Valley Road.
During the work, local traffic will be allowed up to the crossing from either side.
