A man attempted to rob a Penndel convenience store late Monday night.
According to Penndel police, the man walked into the 7-Eleven at West Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Street at 11:26 p.m. He pulled a knife and demanded cash from the clerk.

The clerk was able to escape the store without injury and called law enforcement, police said.
The suspect took off westbound on foot along West Lincoln Highway.
The suspect was described to police as a white male who was wearing a black hat, black mask, blue gloves, black sweatshirt, and blue puffy jacket with a hood.
