UPDATE: The charges against Ryan Platt were withdrawn and his attorney said they have evidence the allegations made by police were not accurate.
Two men have been charged and separately accused of sexually assaulting a then-4-year-old girl.
Middletown police said a 13-year-old girl walked into the police station and reported that she was sexually assaulted in 2009 when she was age 4.

The girl told investigators her father’s friend Ryan Nicholas Platt, 26, of Bensalem, was watching her and followed her into the bathroom in a unit in the Hamilton Park Apartments in Levittown. The then-17-year-old man threatened to kill her and hurt her family if she told them what happened next. At that point, he sexually assaulted the girl, according to court papers.
The girl later told her father what Platt allegedly did and he confronted the man, eventually beating him up, police said.
The girl later allegedly reported the incident to Kevin Christopher Ortiz, 22, of Bensalem.

Ortiz, who was then 13 at the time, then began sexually assaulting the girl by violating her. At one point, he advised her to pretend she was sleeping in bed if there were noises coming from another room, the girl told police.
Platt was arraigned Wednesday afternoon via video by District Judge Daniel Baranoski on charges of aggravated indecent assault of a child and indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age. He was released on 10 percent of $75,000 bail.
