A Thursday afternoon fire damaged the TGI Friday’s outside the Oxford Valley Mall.
The blaze spread from the outside of the eatery and into the walls, slowly burning until firefighters peeled away the exterior and extinguished the flames, officials said.

Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry said crews from the fire marshal’s office were on scene first shortly past 2:15 p.m. and began investigating. Firefighters quickly found the blaze inside the wall and discovered it was venting smoke through the ceiling.
Arriving firefighters cleared lunchtime guests from the building.
No injuries were reported.

The restaurant remained close as of 4 p.m. and the Bucks County Health Department was called before TGI Friday’s can reopen.
Fire Marshal Jim McGuire said the fire appears to have started with mulch that was against the eatery, but he was still investigating.
