Police ID Young Woman Killed In Bristol Twp. Crash

The young woman killed in a Tuesday night crash was identified Friday by police as a Bristol Township resident.

Police said Erika Rhoads, 19, was the driver of the silver 2003 Jeep Cherokee that left Bristol-Oxford Valley Road around 11:15 p.m. Her vehicle hit a utility pole and tree before turning onto its side outside of the Brittany Springs Apartments.

Bristol-Oxford Valley Road was closed for several hours in the area while investigators worked to piece together what happened.

As of Friday, police did not release more details on the crash or what led up to it.

Anyone with information on the crash that took Rhoads’ life has been asked to contact Officer C.J. Winik at 267-812-3053.
