
A home being renovated was damaged by fire early Saturday morning in Tullytown Borough.
Firefighters were called to Cheston Avenue off Main Street around 6 a.m. following a 9-1-1 call from a neighbor who spotted the blaze.

Tullytown Fire Company Chief Aaron Cohen said crews arrived to find heavy flames coming out of the back of the 19th Century home.
Firefighters went to work busting the flames and contained the bulk of the damage to kitchen area.
No injuries were reported.

The fire marshal was unable to determine a cause for the fire.
Crews from the Edgely, American Hose Hook and Ladder, and Levittown No. 1 fire companies assisted Tullytown firefighters.
