An alleged drug dealer who traveled to Bristol Township from Philadelphia was busted recently.
On July 6, a veteran Bristol Township detective was conducting surveillance from his unmarked police car at the Wawa at Route 13 and Green Lane when he spotted what appeared to be drug deal go down. He noted the parking lot of the Wawa is a common drug trafficking location.

The detective walked up to the one man he suspected was involved in the drug deal. The man explained that he just purchased $700 in prescription pain pills from another man – identified as Paul Kennedy Wiesen, 53 – The man stated that he had been purchasing pills from Wiesen every week for the past four to five years, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Last Friday, Bristol Township investigators set up a drug buy using a confidential informant at the Wawa.
The informant was observed by detectives buying $880 worth of OxyContin from Wiesen, police said.

Wiesen was allegedly in possession of a sheet that listed how much customers owned him and what they purchased.
A search of Wiesen’s Philadelphia apartment found numerous pills and large sums of cash, police said.

Wiesen was arraigned on two counts of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance and a single count of criminal use of a communication facility. He was sent to county lockup on 10 percent of $900,000.
