The woman in the Jeep Grand Cherokee was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment of a fractured leg and fractured clavicle, both of which would require surgery, police said.
The crash investigation, including talking to the woman who was injured, revealed that Winter was to blame. The woman who was driving the Jeep said the Toyota was driving quickly and changing lanes in the moments before it ran into the rear of her vehicle, police said.

The woman who owned the vehicle Winter was driving called police to pick up her property from the vehicle after the wreck, authorities said.
The woman met with police at the impound yard and ended up saying Winter’s drugs were in a side pocket of Winter’s wallet that was left in the vehicle, police said.
Police noted in court papers that small bags that appeared to have a substance inside were found. The bags were stamped with “76ers.”

Lab tests were later returned and confirmed that Winer had fentanyl in his system at the time of the crash. A second lab result indicated that one of the bags pulled from the wallet that was in the vehicle contained fentanyl.
Winter’s bail was set at $100,000 unsecured by District Judge Robert Wagner.
