An investigation revealed that the alleged assault stemmed from a road-rage argument that began on I-95 north in the area of the Newtown Exit. The Lower Makefield man was heading to the police station to seek help when the attack happened, police said.

The 18-year-old Levittown man was identified as the attacker and talked with investigators Thursday, police said.

The Levittown man, whose name was not released by police, has been arrested and charged with assault. He has been released waiting for his date before a district judge.
