Dean Malik Plans To Launch Republican Political Action Committee

Clarification: A previous version of this article identified the PAC name incorrectly. Malik said one of his social media pages was used without his authorization to announce a separate PAC. His group does not yet have a name and is still forming.

Former Republican congressional candidate Dean Malik announced last week during a radio interview that he will launch a political action committee (PAC).

The proposed PAC will focus on defeating Democratic candidate Scott Wallace, Malik announced last Thursday on The Dom Giordano Program on 1210 WPHT.

Malik, who lost in last week’s Republican primary to incumbent Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, said the PAC is still in the development process.

Malik said Wallace, a millionaire philanthropist, is “unrelatable” to many First Congressional District voters and doesn’t connect with the “hard working people of Levittown and Bucks County.” He added that he thinks his PAC can focus on keeping the First Congressional District in Republican control.

The Doylestown attorney said he thinks the GOP can win the November election by talking to voters and putting boots on the ground.

During his interview, Malik, a candidate who supported President Donald Trump’s agenda, did not endorse more moderate Fitzpatrick but said he plans to meet with him.

Wallace’s campaign said they plan to keep moving forward and let voters know about their candidate.

Malik earned just over 30 percent of the Republican votes during the primary last week.
