Annual Bristol Borough Spring Cleanup Dates Set

The annual Bristol Borough spring cleanup events are set to help keep the borough beautiful.

The cleanups have become a regular sight in the borough in the early spring. The first cleanup, focusing on the canal, is set for Saturday, April 7 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The rain date for the cleanup is Saturday, April 14.

The first cleanup will clean from Green Lane to the Delaware River, said Jose Acevedo.

This cleanup is being sponsored by the Friends of the Delaware Canal and the Bristol Borough Garden Club.

The second cleanup day is set for April 28, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The rain date for this cleanup is April 29. This cleanup will also feature a flower sale.

The gathering place for Kelp Bristol Beautiful Day, the second cleanup day, is Grundy Park. Parking will be available at the train station.

Equipment for the cleanup will be provided at both events.
