Six new single-family homes are planned for Pennsylvania Avenue in Bristol Township’s Croydon section.
The Green Tree Group Contracting in Doylestown is set to develop the one-story homes along Pennsylvania Avenue between Logan and Girard avenues, abutting the Northeast Regional Rail line.

The six homes will be constructed in an area zoned residential and will replace a set of several lightly wooded lots. Each property will be about 5,000-square-feet. Each home will have a two-car driveway.
Representatives for the Green Tree Group Contracting said the new homes will hook up to the existing sewer system.
The building received waivers for sidewalks, curbing, and the size of the roadway. Those waivers were tied to how the construction would fit in the existing neighborhood.

A resident voiced concerns the new homes will cause residents to park in the street and not their driveway, limiting the size of the 20-foot-wide road.
Bristol Township Council recently approved the preliminary and final development for the homes.

“Thanks for investing in Bristol Township. We do need new housing stock,” Council President Craig Bowen told members of Green Tree Group Contracting.
