Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on southbound I-95 in the work area because backups and delays will occur. The contractorโs schedule is weather dependent.
Under this $29.6 million improvement project by James J. Anderson Construction Company of Philadelphia, PennDOT isย milling, overlaying and rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new guide rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge deck repairs; and installing rumble strips along the I-95 corridor in Bucks County.ย The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the fall. The project is being financed with 80 percent federal funds and 20 percent state funds.
