According to company officials, the lot has the capacity to stock approximately 240 used vehicles of nearly every make and model – and also allows customers to request transfers to the Langhorne CarMax of almost any vehicle from other CarMax locations throughout the country.

In celebration of the Langhorne store opening, CarMax and The CarMax Foundation have awarded $8,000 in donations and grants to the Lower Bucks Family YMCA. Support for this organization came at the recommendation of the CarMax associates.

“CarMax associates care deeply about our communities and enjoy getting involved locally and supporting organizations like the Lower Bucks Family YMCA,” said Bill Hawkins, location general manager of the Langhorne CarMax. “We are excited to join the Langhorne community and look forward to providing an honest, stress-free car-buying experience to customers here.”

The CarMax location took the former site of Kmart.

CarMax began more than 20 years ago and today, allows customers to browse CarMaxโ€™s nationwide inventory of nearly 50,000 vehicles, hold a vehicle for a test drive, schedule an appraisal, and even get pre-qualified for financing before visiting the store.
