A motorist was injured Monday evening when his pickup truck slammed into the back of a parked tanker truck.
The crash happened on northbound Route 13 near Pine Street when the pickup truck, which was driven by a 35-year-old Bristol man, hit the back of a tanker truck parked on the shoulder, police said.

The injured pickup truck driver suffered a head injury and was transported to Lower Bucks Hospital by the Bucks County Rescue Squad, police said.
The tanker truck that was hit was not carrying gasoline.
Bristol Borough firefighters and fire police responded to the scene to assist.
