According to a probable cause affidavit, Falls officers were researching the current registered occupants of a motel when they came across a woman with an active county arrest warrant in relation to a probation violation last Monday. Upon learning this information, the officer radioed for additional units to respond to the motel on Lincoln Highway and assist in locating and taking the woman into custody.

However, when Falls officers approached the room where the woman was reported to be staying and knocked on the door for several seconds, a man answered the door. When the door opened, one of the officers observed a woman with dirty blonde hair attempting to conceal herself under a bed sheet, police said.

The officers then stepped into the room to positively identify the woman and instead observed numerous white wax paper baggies with brand stamping on the floor. A bag containing numerous packaged bundles of suspected heroin, two large pieces of suspected marijuana on top of a television stand, as well as money to the right of the front door were also found. Police also observed a sandwich bag containing an amount of chunky granular substance suspected to be crack-cocaine, surrounded by several hundred dollars on a nightstand to the right of the bed when a search warrant was later served, according to court papers.
