Work to update two Middletown elementary schools is underway.
Guaranteed Energy Savings Act (GESA) upgrades for Walter Miller Elementary School on Cobalt Ridge Drive South is currently underway and will be completed by the time students head back to the classroom. The project will update the building to have air conditioning through and add a digital temperature control system and a security vestibule.

Crews will add a security vestibule at Buck as part of the upgrades.
The third and final phase of the GESA project is costing the Neshaminy School District around $3 million. Reynolds Energy Services and their contractors are completing the work.
In total, the three phases of GESA work in the district have cost about $35 million but the goal is to save operating expenses over time.
