
A tea shop owned by Starbucks is closing its doors in the Oxford Valley Mall and at locations across the country.
Starbucks announced recently that they will close all 379 Teavana stores because they have been “underperforming,” a statement said.

CNN Money reports most stores will closed by spring 2018.
About 3,000 workers will be impacted by the closure of the tea shop chain that Starbucks purchased in 2012.
Teavana locations, similar to the one in Middletown, are mainly based in malls.

The shops have become known for offering samples to those who pass by their locations.
Starbucks recently opened a location in the Langhorne Square Shopping Center and operates a store in the Oxford Valley Mall.
