Police Investigate Saturday Morning Crash

Bristol Township police are working on an investigation into a crash near the Burlington-Bristol Bridge. The crash left a bicyclist in critical condition.

According to a press release put out by police, a 49-year-old from Florence, New Jersey, was operating a 2017 Audi Q3 when he collided with a 64-year-old male from Philadelphia. Police were called to the scene on Saturday morning at 9:34 a.m. to investigate a car and bicycle crash on the approach to the Burlington-Bristol bridge.

The rider of the bike was critically injured and transported to Aria Hospital at the Torresdale campus.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation by.

Police were assisted at the scene by Bristol Township Fire Police, the Burlington-Bristol Bridge Police, Dow Chemical Public Safety, the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and the Croydon Fire Copany.

Police have not released the names of the people involved with the crash.
