Police have arrested a man after he allegedly stabbed his neighbor.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m. last Friday, Bristol Township officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Elmhurst Avenue for the report of an armed subject who had just assaulted a neighbor.

When police arrived, they spoke with the victim, who said his neighbor, 49-year-old Dereck Turner, had stabbed him near his rib cage with a knife for unknown reasons.
According to court documents, the victim was speaking with a friend when Turner walked up to his fence carrying a knife in his hand. Turner then reportedly cursed at the victim and became disrespectful. When Turner was asked to leave the property, he became belligerent, lunging towards the victim and striking him with a knife. The victim said he stumbled into his house and contacted police.
A witness to the incident said they could’t understand Turner when he first approached them and that he believed Turner was high during the incident. The witness told officers that Turner was in possession of the knife when he fled towards Weston Avenue, police said.

Police searched the area but did not come across Turner.
An anonymous call into police informed officers that Turner was near Winder Drive, according to court papers.

Turner was taken into custody without incident and charged with aggravated assault, prohibited use of an offensive weapon, possessing an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault and harassment. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
