Incumbents Take Mayor, Council Races In Bristol Borough

The incumbents will likely keep their seats in Bristol Borough’s mayor and council races.

Democrat Mayor Joe Saxton, who previously served as mayor and was appointed to the seat again last year, beat out former mayor and police officer Robert Lebo in the primary race Tuesday. There were no Republican opponents.

Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe (South Ward) won his seat along with fellow incumbents Betty Rodriguez (West Ward) and Lorraine Cullen (East Ward). The three Democrats do not have Republican challengers for the November election.

The incumbents ran on a platform that touted the recent Small Business Revolution Win and improvements made to the riverfront town in the past years.
