Falls Township police have arrested a Trenton man who they allege tried to burglarize a Morrisville gas station.
On Wednesday at 12:49 a.m., Falls police were dispatched to the Exxon at 299 West Trenton Avenue in Morrisville. The call was made by an employee of the gas station who had viewed surveillance video of the location and observed a male, later identified as Donald Walker, 55, attempting to forcefully gain entry into his structure.

Upon arrival, the defendant who matched the description was found on the property next to the building. After searching the premise, officers noted a window was forcefully removed and a large cutting instrument was on the ground below the removed window. Police suspect that the cutting instrument was used in an attempt to cut the metal guard in the interior of the building to make full entry.
The employee told officers that his cousin had been inside of the building at the time of the attempted burglary and that he noticed to wall was being kicked in and pushed forcefully in an attempt to make entry. The cost of the damage was estimated to exceed $1,000.
While on the scene, the store employee positively identified Walker as the man who had attempted to make entry to his store.
