A Bucks County judge sentenced a man who was behind three armed robberies that took place over a period of five days to 17 to 34 years behind bars this week.
Clifford R. Hill Jr., 47, of Morrisville, pleaded guilty to the three armed robberies last October in Falls Township and Morrisville Borough. He also admitted to an August burglary and another attempted burglary in Morrisville. In addition, Hill pleaded guilty to three counts of illegal possession of a firearm by a felon and several lesser related charges, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Hill robbed the 7-Eleven on Alden Avenue and a gas station on West Trenton Avenue in Falls Township. He also hit MEGA Smoke Shop on Crown Street in Morrisville.
A patrol officer found Hill during a burglary attempt at the Exxon gas station in the 700 block of West Trenton Avenue in Falls Township. Detectives took DNA swabs and linked Hill to the crime spree.
