The film crew for the Small Business Revolution returned to Bristol Borough this week to shoot portions of the second season through April 7.

According to Cameron Potts, vice president of public relations for Deluxe Corporation, the company behind the Small Business Revolution, the film crew has come up from Austin and is currently working on interviewing each of the six businesses chosen to represent the borough in the streaming series that will air this October online.

The small businesses that will be featured in the second season are: Discover, Learn and Grow, Keystone Boxing, Miguel’s Riverside Barbershop, Polka Dot Parlor, Hems Auto and Annabella Restaurant, according Bill Pezza, chairman of Bristol Borough: Raising the Bar.

“What we are doing now is filming each of the six businesses, basically getting their “back story.” Getting them to tell us why they opened a small business, what they love about it, their struggles, their triumphs, learning about their family story,” Potts said.

When Amanda Brinkman, ‎chief brand and communications officer at Deluxe and host of the series, returns to the riverfront borough this Sunday, she will be interviewing businesses to find out ways in which Deluxe can help the owners from a marketing perspective.

Potts said he will be in town next week to go over physical upgrades with local construction contractors Small Business Revolution plans to hire.

According to Potts, each business will get a half day of filming with the crew to nail down the backstory of their business and a half day with Amanda.

Following this heavy dose of filming, each of the business owners will be flown out to Deluxe’s headquarters in Minnesota during the second week of May for marketing meetings, which will also be filmed.

The film crew’s first week of filming wrapped up in early March, with a visit from “Shark Tank” star and Small Business Revolution co-host Robert Herjevac.
