A concerned resident’s call to police has led to the arrest of a man accused of selling marijuana.
Zachary Baker, 27, of Levittown, was arrested and charged with one felony and one misdemeanor related drug offense, as well as a traffic related summary charge.

According to Falls Township police, on Tuesday shortly after 7:30 a.m., Falls officers responded to the area of Glenmar Circle and Glenmar Road in Fairless Hills for the report of a suspicious vehicle. When officers approached the vehicle, they observed its owner, identified as Baker, sleeping in the driver seat.
Officers noted in court papers that they immediately detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and observed a digital scale between the driver and passenger seat.
Once in custody, a search of Baker’s person led to the discovery of seven unused small plastic baggies in his pant’s pocket, a search of Baker’s vehicle yielded $620 in cash, one clear plastic vacuum seal bag containing suspected marijuana, a pack of cigars, and one smoking device.

Police noted in a probable cause affidavit that Baker had his dog with him at the time of his arrest and when police approached a nearby friend of Baker’s to watch the dog. The friend informed police he had watched Baker on numerous occasions meet with unknown subjects and deal them marijuana.
Baker was released from police custody on $50,000 unsecured bail.
