Vacant Home Damaged By Late Afternoon Fire

UPDATE: Power Problems Reported In Area Of Friday House Fire

A vacant home in Bristol Township was damaged in a late Friday afternoon fire.

Firefighters from multiple companies were called to the scene at 4:53 p.m. The first arriving crews pulled up to find flames spreading from the exterior into the attic of the empty dwelling and quickly put them down, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 Chief Chris Shortt said.

One room was badly damaged in the fire, Shortt said.

The cause remained under investigation as of early evening.

No firefighters were injured.
