
During Monday’s high winds, a Middletown home was damaged by a falling tree.
The home on Rambler Road in the Parkland section of the township was heavily damaged when a large tree crashed into it, according to Fire Marshal Jim McGuire.

The tree fell due to high winds and a saturated ground, McGuire said.
The fire marshal said no one was injured but the damage was some of the worst he has seen.
A home in the Twin Oaks neighborhood in Levittown also suffered damage when a tree fell into the roof and caused damage.

Throughout Monday’s high winds, public works officials were out clearing branches and limbs from the streets. In addition, there were several other weather-related fire calls.
