Woman Treated At Hospital After Fire

A Bristol Township woman was treated and released from the hospital after a fire Tuesday morning.

The accidental fire happened around 11:20 a.m. on the second floor of the home in the 2000 block of Foster Avenue Circle, according to Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito.

Firefighters from the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office, Croydon Fire Company, Edgely Fire Company, Levittown Fire Company No.2, Newportville Fire Company and Third District Fire Company brought the blaze under control in about 15 minutes.

The resident who was taken to the hospital by the Bucks County Rescue Squad was released by Tuesday afternoon, Dippolito said.

The Red Cross was assisting two adults and three kids after the fire.
