Police Investigate Attempted Child Luring Outside Apartment Complex

Police are investigating an attempted child luring that reportedly happened earlier this week as a boy was walking to his bus stop.

Falls Township detectives told LevittownNow.com that a school-aged boy was walking to his bus stop located near the entrance of the Village of Pennbrook apartments on Mill Creek Road in Levittown when the incident happened Tuesday around 7:20 a.m. A man in an SUV pulled up to the boy as he passed the 1700 building in the apartment complex and told him to get into the vehicle. The boy refused and kept moving as the SUV drove away.

The driver of the dark gray SUV was a Hispanic male between 30 to 40 years of age with short, dark cropped hair and brown eyes, police said. They added that the SUV was possibly a Ford Explorer.

Lt. Hank Ward said the Pennsbury School District has been alerted and patrols are being stepped up.
