NEW INFO: Police ID Two Croydon Residents Involved In Violent Crash

Bristol Township police said they were continuing to investigate the fatal crash that happened Tuesday evening in Croydon.
The woman killed was a 22-year-old Croydon resident, police said. She was driving the white Nissan Sentra.
The 52-year-old Croydon man behind the wheel of the white GMC Jimmy that overturned is recovering at the Aria Health’s Torresdale facility in Philadelphia, police said.

Lt. Ralph Johnson said “all potential causes (of the crash) are being fully explored.”
Anyone with information that could help officers investigating the fatal crash is asked to call the Traffic Safety Unit at 215-785-6107.

One person was killed and another was seriously hurt in a crash in Bristol Township’s Croydon section Tuesday evening.
The crash happened on River Road in the area of Cedar Avenue around 7:45 p.m., neighbors told LevittownNow.com.

“We heard the crash – boom,” said a man who had just brought his son home from the Keystone Elementary School Winter Concert.
The fatality, according to officials, was in a white car and pronounced dead at the scene. The roof of the car was ripped off and the frame appeared twisted.

The injured female male driver of the white SUV that ended up flipping over and landing near First Avenue was rushed to Aria Health’s Torresdale facility in Philadelphia.
Early reports stated the SUV caught fire following the crash.

Debris from the wreck littered River Road between Cedar and First Avenue. Firefighters used a white tarp to cover the car where the body was and engine fluids leaking from the overturned SUV were sopped up with sand.
Two cars parked in a driveway at the scene appeared to be damaged in the crash.

Bystanders were trying to figure out what happened as first responders milled about the scene waiting for police accident investigators to arrive.
Firefighters from Bristol Borough, Bristol Township and Bensalem were at the spotted along with the Bucks County Rescue Squad and police.
