The woman told police her ex-boyfriend – Audrette Williams, 29, of Bristol Township – was chasing her in a black Nissan while she was driving through several neighborhoods. During the chase, Williams allegedly pulled a handgun and fired two shots at her.
Police said the woman avoided being struck by the gunfire.
Williams ended up arriving at the motel while police were talking with his ex-girlfriend. Officers discovered he had been driving the Nissan since 10 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

While searching the Nissan, police found a Smith and Wesson model 28-2 Highway Patrolman .357 caliber revolver in the trunk of the car. Three bullets were in the cylinder along with two spent shell casings. Nearby, a bag contained several unused bullets, according to court papers.
While digging through the car, investigators found 45 bundles of suspected heroin, police said.
Williams, according to police, has prior three felony convictions in Bucks County and one from Clearwater, Florida. In addition to not having a concealed carry permit, Williams is not able to legally possess a firearm.
