Two Levittown Little League organizations have merged.

The Levittown Pacific and Levittown International organizations have joined forces to become Levittown United, which will host an open house for residents and parents Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brookwood Elementary School on Haines Road in Bristol Township.

The new organization was formed due to Levittown Pacific having to turn away interested players due to size constraints and Levittown International suffering from financial challenges, Rick Palmer, president of the new club, explained to LevittownNow.com.

The new organization covers a large portion of Bristol Township’s Levittown section and will use several fields in the township, including the ones behind the Benjamin Franklin School and in the Red Cedar neighborhood.

The organization’s president said the new merged league will wear maroon and silver to kick off their new start.

Palmer said the organization is working to do the “absolute best thing for our kids.”
