A Falls Township man was shot dead in Trenton early Tuesday morning.
Hakeim Blackshear, 27, of Falls’ Morrisville section, was found lying dead on the ground with gunshot wounds along Edgewood Avenue in the city shortly after midnight.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests had been made in connection with Blackshear’s shooting.
NJ.com reported that the gunshots were picked up using Trenton’s gunfire detection system. In addition, nearby residents also called 9-1-1 to report the shooting.
Blackshear was a father and also related to a gang member who was murdered in 2009, according to The Trentoian.
