A man who is already charged with robbing a Morrisville shop and suspected of hitting two more in Falls Township has been linked to a burglary, police said.
According to court papers, Clifford R. Hill Jr., 47, is facing new charges of burglary, criminal attempt, possession of an instrument of crime and related offenses.

Hill is accused of trying to burglarize the Exxon gas station in the 700 block of West Trenton Avenue in Falls Township early on the morning of March 8.
A police officer was doing a patrol check in the area of the gas station when he saw a man against the building. When the officer turned his patrol vehicle’s spotlight on the man, he darted and made off into the night, according to court papers.
Police said they found the gas station door was damaged and appeared to be tampered with. A crowbar and tire iron were found nearby and were used by the suspect to try to enter the business.

The various pieces of evidence were swabbed for DNA. The test results were returned last week and matched Hill, police said.
Hill is a suspect in the robberies at the 7-Eleven on Alden Avenue and the one at the gas station on West Trenton Avenues. The two Falls robberies took place within days of one another earlier this month.

Hill was arrested earlier this month and charged in connection with an October 8 robbery of the MEGA Smoke shop on Crown Street in Morrisville. He allegedly walked in the store and pointed a black revolver at the clerk and made off with $375 in cash and a pack of Newport cigarettes, according to court papers.
Police have not yet charged Hill in connected with Falls robberies.
Hill remains in prison unable to post bail.
