The owner of a popular Middletown barbershop has been charged with carrying on a sexual relationship with an underage teenage girl.
Elton Migel Jules, 32, a resident of an apartment complex in Falls Township, was charged Thursday with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault on a person under 16. He was arraigned at the end of the business day Wednesday by District Judge Daniel Baranoski and sent to Bucks County prison on $150,000 bail.

According to court documents filed by police, a call to police last Wednesday tipped them off that Jules was allegedly having an illegal sexual relationship with the teen, who is only 15 years old.
The 15 year old and the 32-year-old owner of The Barber Spot on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road first met in July 2015 when her family members stopped by the shop to get haircuts, police said.
In February, Jules and the teen allegedly began sending sexual pictures between each other.

According to police, the teen and Jules first “sexual contact” between the two happened inside the barbershop in May. Jules and the teen were reportedly kissing in the back room.
Jules and teen engaged in sex in the living room of a Middletown home before showering together on June 29, police said.

On August 1, Middletown Detective Andy Amoroso and Bucks County Detective Richard Munger conducted an intercept of a phone conversation between Jules and the girl. During the call, Jules talked to the teen about their sexual contact and it was the teen who is 15 years old, police said.
Jules knows several members of the teen’s family and cut their hair, police said.
