Fifty of America’s newest citizens were sworn in last week.
The 50 individuals from 21 countries, including Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, China People’s Republic, India, Iraq, Russia, South Korea, Vietnam and more, are now U.S. citizens. The new citizens were sworn in during a ceremony at Pennsbury Manor in Falls Township. Federal district judges Linda Caracappa, Mitchell Goldberg and Cynthia Rufe, all of whom are Bucks County residents, presided over the ceremony.

The ceremony at Pennsbury Manor makes sense because Penn championed ideals that led to America becoming the diverse country it is today.
